Marijuana Oil (THC) Is Legal In Texas?
Governor Greg Abbott of Texas signed a bill on June 1st to pass limited use of the marijuana oil to people suffering from intractable epilepsy. The cannobis oil which is high in CBC and low in THC is known to treat patients and reduce the chance of seizures. The state of Texas will regulate the use of the oil and patients will only be permitted to use this alternative drug if they have tried two other epilepsy drugs with no success. A doctor mus sign off on this medication before the drug will be given.
In the last couple of years, we have noticed an increase of participation throughout the United States with the legalization of Marijuana. In fact, 23 total states have now legalized some form of the drug. HOWEVER, the federal government still classifies marijuana as one of the “most” dangerous drugs with no medical benefit. It has also been researched that CBC and THC are effective in not only treating epilepsy but in stopping metastasis of many types of cancers and killing cancer cells in patients who have leukemia.
So unfortunately for the recreational user of Marijuana, the state of Texas has not passed the law allowing you to purchase, distribute or consume the well known “high” plant.
